Engagement Party dress and shoes!

 So the search for something to wear for our engagement party THIS sunday has been in full effect this past weekend! 
I had a vision.. but the vision was not showing itself to me!!!!!!! 


Mom and I went to Macys... Dillards...Pennys...SteinMart...Ann Taylor...BR.....   FINALLY  we walked into LOFT and I saw the light!


I've lost some weight since we got engaged so I had no idea what size to try on.. 
I tried on a 12.. WAY TOOO BIG ( yay!!)  ..  then a 10 ( still too big!)..   I bought a size 8 !!  whoop whoop !   and the funny thing is that its still an inch to big in the waist but perfect everywhere else. 




Next- SHOES! 


I decided on leopard print shoes and possibly a belt. 
I again have gone to store to store and cant really find the shoe I had in mind.  We went to Payless just to see what was going on in there...   I found these wedges.. they were $28 and decently cute. So i bought them JUST IN CASE I am doomed and cant find what I was really looking for. 


I'll post some new and better pics later this week.

 I did this look last week. Ransom and I went out to a nice dinner. 


I did not record anything during the process of creating this look.  So if you would like me to do a tutorial on it..  leave a comment!

F21 makeup remover

Yesterday I went into Forever 21, did a quick little walk by.. and saw packages of makeup remover. They had two packages combined with some tape AND they were only $1.50.. for BOTH packages!!  


I only bought one just bc I wanted to make sure they even worked well.  
Well, last night i tried one out and was pretty pleased, especially for them being SOOO cheap! 


I will go back today and buy some more...

This is what happens when you drive at 90 mph, try to make a turn while running from the cops.........

Wednesday night around 8:30 pm my fiancee is eating dinner while watching t.v. when he hears a loud BOOOOM!!!!!   So loud it shook our house.  
The next thing he hears is someone say " GET DOWN, I SAID GET THE **** DOWN!" 


Well... since that's usually what you hear a cop say, Ransom decided to stay inside till it was silent. 


Once he felt it was safe to look this is what he saw in our front yard a FOOT away from our front porch...

This was where it started on our yard.. 

Anyway, wanted to share the excitement of our brand new renovated front yard!!  lol 

It really stinks bc we JUST planted all those plants and flowers this year and that brick wall has been there a LOOOONG time.  Our house is almost 100 yrs old.. soo.. 

The cops took him to jail that night and we will hear tomorrow about his insurance ( can you believe this guy even had insurance?!) 

I really hope we get lucky and they pay for a majority of the damage. 

Be safe guys.. dont run from the cops and dont drive recklessly!

Green Goodness

I was asked to do a look using lots of green..  this is what I came up with. Hope you guys like it. 

I started out using this green as a base..

I put a little powder under my eyes so theres no fall out. 

Apply this green all over lid but do not go over crease.  It should look like this now.  ( I got this palette off of ebay) 

Apply this green on top of the other green..

Now you should look something like this...

I put this color above the tear duct and blended.. I also took a color close to my skin color and blended under brow bone.

Darker green goes in outer v. 

Used green eyeliner on bottom and regular black liner on top. 
Highlighter is by Urban Decay.. I put it on top of cheeks, nose and middle of upper lip.

Finished product...
